House Agriculture Subcommittee on General Farm Commodities, Resource Conservation and Credit - program and markets related to cotton, cottonseed, wheat, feed grains, soybeans, oilseeds, rice, dry beans, peas, lentils, the Commodity Credit Corporation, agricultural credit, natural resources conservation, small watershed program, rural development, rural electrification, energy, farm security and family farming matters.
Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee - jurisdiction over agricultural production, marketing and stabilization of prices, inspection and products promotion, forestry, conservation, rural revitalization, research and nutrition.

House Budget Committee - makes continuing studies of the effect on budget outlays of relevant existing and proposed legislation.
Senate Budget Committee - makes continuing studies of the effect of budget outlays of relevant existing and proposed legislation.
House Energy and Commerce Committee - jurisdiction over food and drugs, Clean Air Act, Superfund, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Environmental Protection Agency, including Safe Drinking Water Act.
House Ways and Means Committee - jurisdiction over commodity agreements and reciprocal trade agreements, including multilateral and bilateral trade negotiations and implementation of agreements involving tariff and non-tariff trade barriers to and distortions of international trade.
Senate Commerce Committee - jurisdiction over coastal zone management, interstate commerce, and regulation of interstate common carriers, including railroads, trucks and vessels.
Senate Environment and Public Works Committee - jurisdiction over water resources, Clean Air Act, Tennessee Valley Authority, wetlands, private property rights, National Environmental Policy Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, fisheries and wildlife issues, Endangered Species Act, Superfund, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
Senate Finance Committee - jurisdiction over tariffs and import quotas and reciprocal trade agreements.

Congressional Budget Office - mission is to provide Congress with objective, timely, nonpartisan analysis needed for economic and budget decisions and with the information and estimates required for the Congressional budget process.
General Accounting Office - the investigative arm of Congress and perform audits and evaluations of government programs and activities.
General Printing Office - mission is to inform the nation by producing, procuring, and disseminating printed and electronic publications of the Congress as well as the executive departments and establishments of the Federal Government.
