the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee

A BILL
To amend the Food
Security Act of 1985 to prohibit the use of certain conservation funding
to provide technical assistance under the conservation reserve program.
Be it enacted by the
Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON USE
OF CERTAIN CONSERVATION FUNDING FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR CONSERVATION
RESERVE PROGRAM.
Section 1241(b)(1) of the
Food Security Act of 1985 (16 U.S.C. 3841(b)(1)) is amended by inserting
before the period at the end the following: `(other than the conservation
reserve program under subchapter B of chapter 1)'.
