to the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry

To amend the Animal Welfare Act to remove the limitation that permits
interstate movement of live birds, for the purpose of fighting, to States
in which animal fighting is lawful.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. INTERSTATE MOVEMENT OF ANIMALS FOR ANIMAL FIGHTING.
Section 26 of the Animal Welfare Act (7 U.S.C. 2156) is amended--
(1) by striking subsection (d); and
(2) by redesignating subsections (e) through (h) as subsections (d)
through (g), respectively.
