USDA will donate about 7,500 metric tons of kidney beans, rice, soybean oil, wheat flour, canned pink salmon and nonfat dry milk to a private voluntary organization for distribution in Russia. The donations will be made to Chamah for distribution.

Chamah will distribute the commodities to needy and vulnerable population groups throughout Russia through various Russian recipient institutions such as orphanages and hospitals. Chamah also will use some of the donated commodities for charitable direct feeding programs in Moscow.
